Hackthorn

Hackthorn is a small city on the West Coast of the Crown States. It is dominated by Hackthorn Academy. It is the focus of Arcs 18 & 19.

Hackthorn Academy

Hackthorn Academy is located on the coastal cliffs, its buildings interwoven into a giant statue of a reclining woman. This statue was grown by Professor Viola Ferres as her graduation project. The Academy specializes in theatre, visual beauty, & the appearances of nobles.

Geographic Location

Hackthorn's position on the coast is ambiguous, but it is not in 'the Californias' & it is further from Lugh than Tynewear is. If Lugh is in the Salish Sea region of the Pacific Northwest, Hackthorn is probably in coastal Oregon.
