Whelps

From Twig Wiki

One of the tools Radham Academy uses to track down and deal with escaped experiments.

Appearance

They have large beaks and scaled bodies, sporting long tails and narrow eyes. On the lower end, they weight about 20lbs. They track targets based on scent markers<ref>"It had a large beak and scaled body, it sported a long tail and narrow eyes.  The tongue trailed out of its open mouth" -Excerpt from Stitch in Time 4.3</ref>

Psychology

Due to being clones of each other, they all behave in a similar manor. With only minor differences based on their environment and other factors.<ref>"They were, as a weapon, a singular entity.  They weren’t joined by the brain or anything like that, but they were cloned, making them functionally identical, differing only in minor ways as their environment and exposure to food allowed.  One whelp alone could divide into two.  Left alone, they would stalk their prey from a distance, eat things that didn’t smell of human, including foodstuffs recently handled by humans, multiply, and then when they had built up sufficient numbers, they would attack en masse.  Those beaks would cut into flesh and flense it from bone.  Ten whelps could devour a man in less than a minute." - Excerpt from Stitch in Time 4.3</ref>

Their attack tactics are piranha-like, with them eating anything that doesn't smell of human to multiply enough that they could swarm their target.

Project Goal

Self-cloning creatures built to track, hunt, and kill a target. Just ten could devour a man in less than a minute.

History

Used to try and track down Genevieve Fray.
