Builder's Wood

In the world of Twig any wooden item from houses to furniture has been replaced by Builder's Wood.

Houses are grown from it, as much as they are built, and can be repaired through this process. It takes a variety of other forms, persumably from diffrent streins, when used to make furniture and other items.<ref>She held a grown wooden chair with metal reinforcement at the legs. - Excerpt from Cut To The Quick 11.14</ref><ref>The furniture was grown wood with gold elaboration that had no doubt been worked into it as it grew. - Excerpt from Root and Branch 19.1</ref> It can also be 'poured' into materials, presumably in some seed form that allows it to be quickly grown.

Can be used for quarantine procedures when used in conjunction with Rain.<ref>Cut To The Quick 11.10</ref>

It needs tending to for it to grow correctly.

Trivia

• Shaping wood has a long real life history. Espalier for example was where fruit trees were shaped around building to provide fruit and similar.
