The building formed a square with a yard in its center. The front entrance sat at the southern wall with the front office, infirmary and other administrative rooms. The west and east sides of the square had classrooms. The northern end, furthest from the entrance has the dorms, boys at the west corner, girls at the east. The two sides of the dorms were separated by the teacher’s quarters and washrooms on the upper floors, and a spacious dining room on the lower floor.<ref>The school was arranged into a square, with the yard in the middle.
